Anorexia & Bulimia Nervosa

Like a lot of people know in the actuality there are a lot of cases of anorexia, bulimia, anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa in men and women. There are mental problems that affect a lot of people that have complex with its body. Nobody is safe of having this disease because there a lot of factors that could drive you to earning it. This diseases are more common in teenagers and in women than men.

I am going to leave here the meaning of each one of the mental diseases:

ANOREXIA.- a lack or loss of appetite for food (as a medical condition).

ANOREXIA NERVOSA.- an emotional disorder characterized by an obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat.

BULIMIA.- an emotional disorder involving distortion of body image and an obsessive desire to lose weight, in which bouts of extreme overeating are followed by depression and self-induced vomiting, purging, or fasting

BULIMIA NERVOSA.- an eating disorder in which a large quantity of food is consumed in a short period of time, often followed by feelings of guilt or shame.

I would talk about this problems in girls, because its most common and because I am a girl:

When we see that girls with curves, perfect bodies, that barbies we want to be similar than them, so unconsciously we do something to be thin. But a number of that girls dont know how to drive it, and they think than stop eating or vomiting will solve all the problems. And its exactly the opposite cause we only need to eat less and healthy and exercise. Thats all! But not all the girls understand it.

The magazines, the internet, the media all of them show prototypes of perfect bodies and perfect humans so we are invaded of comercial trash that ruin the life of a lot of girls and teenagers. There are pages that show the ideal weight and pages that show how to be an anorexic and bulimic person, the most famous its called: "Princess Ana and Mia". Ana is anorexia, and Mia is bulimia. This girls with these problems are ruining the life of a lot of inocent people. 

In social networks like facebook, twitter, ask.fm we find people that cut their veins, people with all this mental problems, and they show it. This photos and pages could be seen by everybody, and this are other factors that drive to this diseases.

Anorexia and Bulimia are known all around the world, and it is increasing, know its very natural in girls. Some people try to have awareness about this disease, creating not perfect dolls with 90 60 90, or making videos about experiences, making interviews and a lot of things more. But this is still proliferating, so like society what we can do to help this people?
